As we all have heard by now in some form or another the calling of women from the Rutgers Basketball team "Nappy Headed Hoes" and the game between Tennessee and Rutgers as a game with the "Jiggaboos vs The Wannabees". This has brought up much discussion concerning the use of referring to our women as "Bitches and Hoes". I'm not sure how many times I've had this discussion with some of the fellas that choose to use these words to refer to sistahs.

So, to all my lady friends I offer you an apology. I'm apologizing for all the brothas that have referred to you in that manner. I'm apologizing for all the accomplishments each of you has made in your lives, considering all the obstacles you've gone through and a brotha shouldn't have been one of them, that continue to go unrecognized since you're still being called "Bitches and Hoes" in alot of brothas eyes. I want to apologize for those that think that whats between your thighs is the prize and never taking to time to find out whats behind your eyes, because if I got behind those eyes I would realize, that what I find there is where the real treasure lies. I want to apologize for men forgetting that women are a gift from God to man to be a helpmate, companion, lover, mother, and a friend.

Now the reality of the matter is that coming from me it may just be chatter, but brothas if your reading this change from being the latter. Develop a new love for what sistahs have to offer. And let women be just that. Woman.
