Hello Everyone.

We would like to thank everyone for all of the well received birthday wishes. Our March birthday party bash was a huge success and a lot of fun. Thanx again!!!

Unfortunately, one of our 'VIP' vocalist has had a tremendous tragedy to overtake her family. Peggy Jenkins and her family ( husband Frank and 2 children), were victims of an apartment fire. They lost everything. They are in need of food, money, clothes, etc. If you are able to come out to our weekly Wednesday night jam session this week, we are asking for your participation in helping this family. They are still living in Columbus, Georgia. The two kids are girls ( ages 14 and 15). If you haven't heard Peggy sing, then you will be in for a very special treat this Wednesday night. On behalf of Frank and Peggy, we would like to thank you in advance for all of your help.

We have been doing this jam session for ten years. I simply cannot thank you enough for all of the support. It just would not happen without all of you.

Open Mic Festival Is On For Tonight!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!! We hope that you all are as excited as we are about this evening!!!

Our 3rd Annual Open Mic Festival ( All thanx and praises to God) WILL be held tonight at the Apache Cafe. There will be food, drinks, vending, great spirits, and the best live music the southeast has to offer!

Your attendance is all that we need! Don't forget, we will be giving away a free, brand new I-Pod. It will be givin to the person who brings the most people with them to the festival. Good luck!!!

The party starts at 6:30 ish. Don't forget to bring your lawn/tailgating chairs. And again, thanx for your continued support.

Block Party Festival Reminder

Good morning everyone. I hope that all is well. This is Al Smith, once again reminding you about our end of the summer Block Party Festival ( 6:30 pm, at the Apache Cafe, Spring and 3rd Streets, downtown Atlanta).

You all have supported our events over the years tremendously; and we thank you.

Because of the rescheduled rain date, we are in need of everyones' help in spreading the word about our festival. Please tell and bring many of your friends and co-workers.

Block Party Festival Has Been Postponed!!!

Good morning everyone. Once again, this is Al Smith.

Due to the high chance of rain in the Atlanta Metro area this evening, we have decided to postpone our festival. We will host it on the 26th of September, starting at 6:30 outside the Apache Cafe ( Spring and 3rd Streets, downtown Atlanta).

Please help us in notifying everyone. Our previous festivals have had over 600 people in attendance. Reaching everyone may be very challenging, so your help would be very much appreciatted.

We will, however, carry on business as usual this evening. So we look foward to seeing a lot of you this evening, and most certainly on the 26th at our 3rd annual festival.

Block Party Festival Update

Good afternoon everyone. This, once again, is Al Smith. We are in the final stages of producing our 3rd annual Open Mic Block Party Festival. As of this hour, our festival is still on schedule, and will begin tomorrow early evening at 6:30 pm at the Apache Cafe. However, due to the chance of rain, we may reschedule the event for the 26th of September ( same time and place). Thanks to everyone for all of the years of support.
